Drawn with: Pencil, Wax Crayon, Pen The five mascots for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, known as the Fu Wa. Or Friendlies in English. Clockwise, form bottom-left to bottom-right: Bei Bei, Jing Jing, Huan Huan, Ying Ying, Ni Ni. Each Fu Wa is in the form of its represented sports: Bei Bei: Water Sports (Diving), Jing Jing: Weightlifting, Huan Huan: Ball Sports (Soccer), Ying Ying: Track-Running and Ni Ni: Acrobatics. On the bottom-left is the Dancing Emblem, it's the symbol of the 2008 Bejing Olympics. And I purposefully made the five rings of the Olympics in that order to suit each Fu Wa's colours. Hope you like! XD! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. This is going to sound weird but, I don't have that much Asian in me...I mean, I don't even look like I have Japanese in me (like if you saw a pic of me) but I have it on my father's side. (I hope that doesn't sound confusing)
